Horse Racing Women’s Summit Releases Ticket for 2024 Events

March 14, 2024 - Arcadia, CA: Tickets are now on sale for the 2024 Horse Racing Women's Summit (HRWS) Annual Summit and HRWS Events. HRWS Events  at Keeneland (April 18) and Saratoga (July 23) kick off the year, leading up to the 3rd Annual Horse Racing Women’s  Summit, which returns to Santa Anita Park September 25-26. The HRWS community will gather again on October 31 in Del Mar ahead of the 41st Breeders’ Cup World Championships.

Tickets can be purchased at www.WomeninRacingSummit.com. Attendance at each event is limited and tickets for each event will be sold separately; it is expected that all events will sell out.

"Coming into our third year of the HRWS, it is incredible with the encouragement of our supporters, sponsors, and volunteers that we can expand our reach nationally,” said Jodie Vella-Gregory, HRWS executive committee member. “With a tremendous lineup of events from California to Kentucky to New York, the momentum is palpable and we are excited to bring robust programming and a sense of community to multiple jurisdictions.”

Programming for the regional events at Keeneland and Saratoga includes featured speakers, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities on topics relevant to the region and the HRWS community as a whole. Attendees at the Keeneland event will have the option to ‘stay and play’ on April 19 for special farm tours in conjunction with Visit Horse Country, and Saratoga attendees are invited to ‘stay and play’ for a day of racing in the 1863 Club on July 24. Each event has been planned in conjunction with regional representatives to allow for authentic expansion and connection within the HRWS community.

Keeneland is the exclusive Triple Crown Sponsor of the HRWS event at Keeneland Racetrack on April 18th.

“I was filled with joy to learn of the regional HRWS event being brought to Saratoga,” said Donna Barton Brothers, a speaker at last year’s event in Saratoga. “The 2023 event did not disappoint, and the 2024 version is going to be even grander with a great line-up of speakers, panelists, and networking opportunities. It truly is Christmas in July if you love horse racing.”

The 3rd annual Horse Racing Women’s Summit on September 25-26 will be highlighted by a powerful keynote in addition to robust panel discussions, workshops and a celebration of the 2024 Jane Goldstein Award winner. In addition to a full day of programming on September 26, attendees will gather at Santa Anita Park for a welcome reception and networking activity the evening of September 25 and have the opportunity to ‘stay and play’ on September 27 for opening day of the autumn meet.

All are invited to gather at Del Mar on October 31 for a day of racing and a handicapping contest benefitting the Horse Racing Women’s Summit Pay It Forward Program ahead of the 2024 Breeders’ Cup World Championships on November 1-2.

Pay It Forward Tickets

The Pay It Forward initiative provides scholarship tickets to new or emerging participants in the horse racing industry. It gives companies and individuals an opportunity to purchase a ticket for someone  who would otherwise not be able to attend. The Pay It Forward ticket purchaser can designate a recipient, or put it into a pool of tickets that will be allocated. Pay It Forward tickets can be purchased on the HRWS ticket page by following the prompts at check out.
